Rooftop in Clapham, a subtle Battersea Powerstation as the backdrop, a healthy dose of wind and bitter British temperatures all played their part in this cover shoot. Editorial photography is always unpredictable, you have to act fast and just deal with what you've got. Thankfully in this instance I had a very willing and photogenic subject in Jono McNeil. He was an absolute professional who kept his 'my hands are so cold I think I've lost my fingers' complaints to a minimum..... that's what we like!
Despite nearly losing my octobox off the side of the building thanks to the wind and no amount of sandbags preventing it, we persisted and got this. Very chuffed indeed.... also BTS shot to give context.
