Having just landed in beautiful snowy -12 NYC I got the news that this shoot for South Eastern Rail had been confirmed...... starting the day before I was due to land at Heathrow! A quick call to Virgin for a new flight and a wife very happy to be left alone in Manhattan for a day to roam the shops and it was on.
It was a 2 day shoot to update South Eastern's image library for their 2015 campaigns, updating their look/brand and showcasing new services and products they have to offer their customers. Shooting on a high speed moving train roaming about the Kent country side caused many challenges - the main one being constantly changing light, scenery and backdrops. The movement of the train and the limitation of space for lighting as well as having a finite amount of time before the train reached its destination also made it difficult... but I relish a challenge!
The remaining time was spent with various setups of 14 models shooting lifestyle scenarios around the new Stratford International station and the brilliant team working with superb models (both young and old) all helped to put a big smile on the client's face!
